Dunleavy: Lacob s attention to the team this summer is as always, Valkyrie makes him a little distracted

Today Warriors GM Dunleavy accepted an interview with the media.

Reporter: How would you describe how much Joe Lacob (Warriors boss) pays attention to negotiations or potential contracts this offseason? How much does he pay attention to these progress?

Mike Dunleavy: As always, I pay great attention. I think Joe is an extension of management and we have to get him involved and keep progress updated at any time.

He was indeed a little distracted this summer by "Valkyrie" (Golden State Valkyrie, WNBA New Team), that was really great and fun, and they played an amazing first season. So Joe put some energy into that. But overall, it is still as usual: the business is as usual, caring about our progress, why it took so long, etc.
