Recently, Nuggets' Fame member Dan Issel talked about Jokic and Murray in an interview.

Issel said: "What they accomplished is amazing. Of course I am biased. I think Jokic is now the best player in the NBA and he is also the best player in the Nuggets' history. Jamal Murray may be the second best player in the team history. They play very well around these two people. Other players have also contributed, and their core lineup will remain for several years."

Issel announced his retirement in 1985, and his No. 44 jersey was retired by the Nuggets' history. His total career score was second in the history of the Nuggets and his career rebounds were the first in the history of the Nuggets.
