Liverpool striker Jota died in a traffic accident at the age of 28.

Atle Madrid official tweeted condolences: "Atle Madrid Club expresses its deepest condolences for the death of former player Jota and his brother Andre Silva.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.

May the deceased rest in peace."

Jota played for Atletico Madrid from 2016 to 2018, but was loaned to Porto and Wolves and did not represent Atletico Madrid.
