Dzeko: Spaletti is one of the best coaches I have ever met, he is especially good at coaching forwards
Decko left Fenerbahce, who had played for two years this summer, and returned to Serie A to join Florence. In an interview, Dzeko talked about the best head coach he has worked with.
Decko said: "Sparetti is one of the best coaches I have ever met. I didn't get much chance to play in the first four to five months at Rome, and I was very disappointed. And Spaletti is a unique coach with a unique personality and you need time to understand him.
"As I gradually got to know Spaletti, the situation improved significantly, and he knew how to motivate players. I'm sorry Spaletti didn't get a good grade in the national team, maybe that's not a job that suits him. Spaletti needs to have a high level of engagement in the game and keep close contact with the team.
"For the striker, he is the absolute best coach. On his team, the striker is able to get a lot of catches. When I scored two goals, he would say to me, 'Are you happy Edin?' I would answer 'Of course.' And he would say 'I think you can score four goals."
From January 2016 to May 2017, the two worked together in Rome. After the 16-17 season, Roma announced Spaletti's resignation.
