Former referee: Gila’s step on Conceição was an obvious penalty. I don’t understand why the referee didn’t review it
After Juventus lost 0-1 to Lazio, according to the view of former referee and current DAZN referee analyst Marelli, Juventus should have received a penalty kick in the game.
In the second half of the game, Conceicao fell to the ground in the penalty area but the referee did not award a penalty kick. Marelli commented on this: "Gira quickly realized that he had committed a foul, and the Juventus player's left foot was stepped on by his right foot. Conceicao did exaggerate the contact, but this is what every player will do."
"I don't understand why there was no on-field review. In my opinion, this is an obvious penalty kick."
