💣Morata cannons Galatasaray: I am forced to give up some of the salary I earn without keeping my promise
Galatasaray officially announced that Morata had left the team yesterday. It is reported that he will join the Serie A team Como. Today, Morata posted a farewell to Turkish fans and also bombarded Galatasaray.
Morata wrote:
Dear Galatasaray fans and the Turkish people,
I sincerely thank you for your love, warmth and support. You guys have made me feel welcome since day one, and your support is one of the most remarkable support I have ever experienced in my career.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about my experience at the club. There are moments when the club fails to keep their promises and does not show respect for basic values.
Until the last moment, the promises made were not fulfilled, so I had no choice but to be forced to give up some of the salary I earned through my work and other contractual rights (the published figures are not accurate). For me, in life and work, there are some principles that should never be broken, such as respecting everyone's rights. For me, not admitting or paying the money I have made is unacceptable and goes against the values of fairness and professionalism that I believe in.
I know these things are not usually talked about publicly, but I think the fans should be explained to the fans what is really going on. You and Istanbul will always stay in my heart, and I wish you all the best from now on.
I also want to give special thanks to the head coach and his excellent team-I am sure you will continue to write the history of Galatasaray. I sincerely thank all the teammates who shared my time with me and all the staff at the training base.
Exclusive thanks.
Alvaro ❤️
