Braun and others are seeking an early contract extension with an average salary of 30 million, and their annual salary bottom line is estimated to be 25 million.
According to a report by famous reporter Jake Fischer, discussions among teams in the league about early renewal of rookie contracts are still continuing. Many 2022 first-round picks are seeking to reach an early renewal agreement with an average salary of US$30 million before the October 21st deadline.
Multiple sources in the league revealed that Nuggets player Braun is also among the above, and the bottom line of his new contract is estimated to be approximately US$25 million per year.
Braun, the No. 21 pick in the 2022 class, has one year left on his rookie contract, and his salary for the 2025-26 season is approximately US$4.92 million.
Last season, Braun averaged 15.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game in the regular season, shooting 58.0% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point range. In the playoffs, Braun averaged 12.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game, shooting 45.3% from the field and 29.6% from the three-point range.
