Arsenal official: Dowman becomes the youngest player to play in the Champions League and is expected to hit two other records

Arsenal teenager Dauman became the youngest player in the history of the Champions League, and Arsenal's official website took stock of Dauman's record.
In the fourth round of the Champions League, Arsenal defeated Slavia Prague 3-0 away from home. Dauman, who was 15 years and 308 days old, came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute and became the youngest player to play in the Champions League since its restructuring in 1992. The previous record was held by Mukoko, who was only 16 years and 18 days old when he represented Dortmund in the Champions League match against Zenit in December 2020.
In the Premier League match between Arsenal and Leeds United in August this year, Dauman has become the second youngest player in the history of the Premier League. In Arsenal's League Cup match against Brighton last week, Dauman became the youngest starting player in Arsenal's history. Now Dauman has also set a new record in the Champions League.
Arsenal’s official website stated that Dauman can try to break two records next. The first is the youngest starting player in the history of the Champions League. This record is held by Yamal. When he started in Barcelona's Champions League match against Porto in October 2023, he was only 16 years and 83 days old. If Dauman gets the chance to start for Arsenal before the quarter-finals of this season's Champions League, he can break Yamal's record.
The second is the youngest goal scorer in the history of the Champions League. This record is held by Fati. He scored in the 86th minute of Barcelona's Champions League match against Inter Milan in December 2019, when he was only 17 years and 40 days old. Dauman only needs to score in the Champions League before February 2027 to set a new record.
Arsenal's official website lists the ranking of the youngest players in the history of the Champions League:
1 Dauman Arsenal 15 years and 308 days
