Post: Jackson s buyout fee is not included in Chelsea s profit yet, Bayern discusses permanent buyout next summer
In evaluating whether the Champions League lineup submitted by Chelsea passed the financial review, UEFA accepted Jackson's loan fee of £14.3 million instead of the £56.3 million buyout clause.
Due to violations of UEFA's financial regulations (club salary expenditures must not exceed 70% of total revenue), Chelsea must prove that they have made profits in the transfer market this summer before they can register for new players.
Although they did not count the buyout clause, they managed to do this, allowing loan player Faquento Bonanot to be added to the Champions League roster at the last minute to replace the injured Essugo.
Even if Jackson fails to meet the number of appearances required to trigger the buyout clause, Bayern is preparing to discuss signing him permanently next summer, provided he has performed well on the court.
